The Secretary/Treasurer of the state chapter is the glue that holds our organization together. It is not an easy task to keep track of membership and dues, paying necessary bills such as printing Turkey Tracks twice a year. There are reports that must be sent to both the state and federal governments. On top of this, it is a volunteer position.
Several years ago Laurie Smith of Chase volunteered for that position. She has done a remarkable job. Her husband is retiring and they plan on spending a great deal of time traveling and Laurie has advised us that she will no longer be able to function as our Secretary/Treasurer.
A very sincere Thank You and Best Wishes for the future. Her position will be held by new leadership.
