The Pere Marquette Chapter will be sponsoring the Wild Turkey Hunter Rendezvous for the 34th year. The event takes place in Baldwin on Saturday March 28th, 2015.
The day’s events begin at 9:00am at the high school, with the doors opening at 8:00am. There will be vendors exhibits, door prizes, calling and hunting clinics, gun and silent raffles. The Michigan State Turkey Calling Championships for both seniors and juniors will conclude the events at the high school.
The event then moves north to the VFW grounds for a turkey shoot using shotguns. Upon conclusion of the shoot the ladies of the VFW have a great turkey supper, followed by an evening program. Come join us for a fun day of Wild Turkeys. There is a $5.00 charge at the high school with kids 16 and under free.
