Well here we are in the middle of another Michigan winter wishing it was spring so we could be out scouting that big Gobbler instead of shoveling snow. For me it will be a great spring, since I am now feeling better due to rehab and hopefully I’ll be ready to hit the hunting and fishing hard this spring season, for all the rest of you, good luck and have fun chasing big Tom. Here we are in the middle of summer, wishing it were fall. Fall is perhaps my favorite time of year. Goose hunting gets me started hunting in late summer and really makes me wish for fall.
In the fall, I can get up in the morning and decide if I want to hunt or if I would rather fish.

For me with the numerous knee surgeries the past year it will be a great spring, since I am now into rehab and hopefully I’ll be ready come Turkey season, for all the rest of you, good luck and have fun chasing big Tom.

It has been a very long year for me, I tore the quad tendon of my left knee on Jan. 20 and am just now on Aug. 5, getting over an infection. Hopefully next winter my knee can be repaired again, until then I will get around with a knee brace.
