Well here we are in the middle of another Michigan winter wishing it was spring so we could be out scouting that big Gobbler instead of shoveling snow. For me it will be a great spring, since I am now feeling better due to rehab and hopefully I’ll be ready to hit the hunting and fishing hard this spring season, for all the rest of you, good luck and have fun chasing big Tom. Traverse Bay Chapter – Spring 2009 Update

Despite every attempt to hold off until absolutely necessary, it became absolutely necessary for the Traverse Bay Chapter to open both their corn distribution sites (Gaylord and Charlevoix) on December 20, two weeks earlier than usual, and about a month earlier than we can afford after spending an incredible $17,000 feeding approximately 10,000 birds in five different counties last winter.
